Dr Andrew Tucker

Dr Andrew Tucker is an experienced research and innovation leader with more than 20 years’ experience across research translation, industry–research collaboration and commercialisation. His expertise spans sleep health, wellbeing, performance and safety, with a career grounded in developing applied, evidence‑based solutions through complex, multi‑partner programs.

Andrew is currently Executive Research Manager at the Care Economy CRC, a national collaborative initiative bringing together over 50 partners to transform the quality, productivity and outcomes of Australia’s care services. He has held senior roles across the university, consortium and health‑technology sectors, including Director of Research and Development at Sleeptite and the inaugural Director of the Australian Sleep and Alertness Consortium at the Sleep Health Foundation.

Throughout his career, Andrew has led the development of innovative technologies, research programs and industry partnerships aimed at improving sleep, safety and wellbeing in workplaces and care environments. He holds a PhD in Psychophysiology and maintains an active role in applied research as an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health at Monash University.
