Our first seminar was hosted by Prof Greg Murray (facilitated by Sleep Health Foundation CEO, Dr Moira Junge), as he introduced the series with a discussion about the "The Role of Sleep in Mental and Physical Health" and how we might manage sleep as we approach Daylight Savings on Sunday 2 October.

Professor Greg Murray, PhD, FAPS is Director of the Centre for Mental Health at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne Australia. He conducts research into mood disorders, circadian rhythms, and personality. He is ranked in the top 1% of researchers worldwide in each of these fields, and is recognised as a world expert in bipolar disorder (top 0.1%, Expertscape.com). Professor Murray has published extensively on the chronobiology of mental health. His public engagement includes: Chair of the Sleep Health Foundation Daylight Saving Taskforce, frequent school talks on sleep health, and a regular mental health segment on ABC Radio National.
